The EtherCAT Coupler Unit conforms to EtherCAT standards. Check the specifications of the EtherCAT master being
  connected for the configurable topology. However, note that only NX-ECC203 EtherCAT Coupler Units (Ver. 1.5 or later) is
  compatible with a ring topology.
